The original, this a month-long powder odyssey that concludes in the mystical depths of British Columbia, combining incredible powder riding, off-grid adventure, pro coaching and great people. Designed to help adventurous intermediate to expert skiers master the steep and deep of Canada, the highlight is a four-day hut-based touring retreat in Purcell Mountain powder fields.

Nestled in southeast BC, you’ll spend four weeks in the dramatic bowls and funky town of Fernie, boosting off-piste technique, mastering freeride skills and learning how to safely navigate backcountry terrain. With pro coaching from an expert team, plus avalanche clinics, touring workshops and guided cat-skiing, you’ll learn all the skills needed to gorge on the untouched backcountry descents you’ve dreamed of.

The trip highlight is a four-day stay at a remote backcountry lodge known as the Boulder Hut, only accessible by heli drop. With no connectivity, you’ll fully unplug and enjoy daily touring led by seasoned guides, beautiful powder snow and delicious, home-cooked food to fuel the adventure. Perfect for a sabbatical, places are limited to 24 people per camp. No prior touring experience necessary but a good level of intermediate skiing is required. For solo travellers, couples or small groups – you’ll share the experience with like-minded snow-fanatics and forge great friendships along the way.

Youll love this course if: you’re looking to spend an extended period of time in the Rockies; you want to boost your off-piste skills and explore the British Columbian backcountry; you’re up for meeting a ready-made group of new friends.

"

Fantastic - I feel like I've really improved not only my skiing technique but my confidence is so much better. I can handle treelines, traverses and the steep and deep. The MTM camp has just been a fantastic excuse to spend 4 weeks on the snow, nonstop skiing! Fernie never fails to disappoint! This is my second year here and I know it wont be my last. "

Frankie Flower

"

I've had a great time in Fernie with my son, Harvey. From my initial enquiries and booking the trip, to the coaching, accommodation and friendliness of the Nonstop staff, the overall organisation has made our time here just fantastic. We've both improved leaps and bounds. The Boulder Hut was a highlight - we were dropped off by heli in the wilderness of British Columbia, touring out each day with a small group of new friends - a real once in a lifetime adventure. "
