How It Works

Have A Scroll

Learn to ride piste, powder, backcountry or park with style and flow. We run a varied collection of ski and snowboard courses of all styles and durations, designed to spark progression in our favourite mountain playgrounds. From instructor courses to all-mountain camps.

We believe there’s nothing better than progressing at a sport you love to reach the next level, and doing it alongside a bunch of new avid skier and snowboarder mates. Each course combines pro coaching, great mountains, and an awesome group of people to ride with.

All wildly different, mixing snow, terrain and culture. From the mythical powder fields of Canada’s British Columbia, to the endless bowls of France’s Southern Alps, and the soaring peaks of Italy's Aosta Valley.

We have a range of date and duration options available throughout the season. Find one that works for your schedule. For popular date options, it’s best to book early.

We welcome skiers and riders of all levels. Our courses are designed for varied abilities from intermediate through to expert. Intermediate riders will build technique and confidence, while more experienced groups will be challenged from day one.

The lifeblood of Nonstop is the people who join us. Created for like-minded people with an interest in skiing, snowboarding, travel and adventure; for solo travelers, couples and friends; for anyone who shares our passion for snow. Many of our guests come solo, all leave with friends for life.

The heart of what we do. Pro coaching from an expert team to level up your skiing or snowboarding and boost your all-mountain game. Expect challenging, fun and social days exploring the best terrain, with plenty of tips and tricks to maximise your riding.

We aim for ride groups of 6-8, which we find is small enough for high-level feedback while creating a fun and social atmosphere. We arrange groups by ability to ensure everyone is working on similar goals.

Each week we lay on group après meets to recount the slashes and stacks, technical workshops on subjects like ski biomechanics, and evening socials like movie nights or curling.

All our courses are designed with an adventurer’s touch, with access to a collection of local trips and away days, like cat-skiing in the backcountry, snow-shoeing through quiet forests, or ski-touring amidst remote peaks.

All courses include a lift pass for the duration of your stay with us or a season pass.

We work with the best local coaches and guides, many of whom have been coaching on Nonstop for years. They’re ready to guide you around the mountain, show you their secret lines, and hone your shred skills.

The ones who hold it all together. Our friendly hosts are on hand to help throughout your trip, tell you when it’s forecast to dump pow and where the après is, plus deal with any issues, good or bad.

We’re a small team of skiers and snowboarders and you’ll speak or email with us before you join – we love nothing more than a chat so feel free to reach out. We’re here to help, answer any questions and get you to the mountains to pop through pow.

Accommodation

We have our own ski lodge in home-resort Fernie, which acts the hub for our courses. In our other resorts, we use local lodges, hotels and chalets. All are comfortable, welcoming and centrally-located, with mountain views and important amenities like hot tubs to soothe those muscles.

You can choose from private or twin share rooms. If you go for a sharing option, we match you up with a like-minded participant of the same gender, based on a short survey we do before you join us.

Each course includes delicious breakfasts, plus a few evening meals each week cooked up by our chef teams, healthy and tasty with hungry riders in mind. The balance of included meals and free nights allows you to enjoy the local restaurant scene, while not having to make dinner plans every day.

Booking is easy and straight-forward. You can book online in just a few steps. Select your course, fill out a few details and pay a deposit to secure your spot.

To secure a spot on a course, you must pay a deposit at the end of the booking process. This varies per course but is typically £200-300 / $300-400.

After you pay your deposit, the remaining balance is split into two equal instalments – the payment dates of which will be detailed on the invoice you receive. If you book after the second payment date, full payment may be required.

Travel

No hassle with getting to resort. We lay on a group transfer, with a set pick up and drop off on the start and end date of your course, from and to the recommended meeting point.

Once your place is confirmed, you can organise your flights or train to the recommended airport or meeting point, ready for the group transfer.

You’ll need to provide your own ski or snowboard equipment. If you don’t already own equipment, you can purchase gear in resort. Many local shops offer a Nonstop discount. You can rent, but most people like to use their own gear. Airbags and avalanche equipment are not needed unless stated, but you are welcome to bring. We provide specialist equipment on certain courses.

Make sure you're covered for all you need. We can’t recommend policies but can advise on what to look for and insurance providers previous clients have found helpful.

After you’ve booked, we’ll ask you to complete a post-booking survey and travel survey. This gives us all the info we need to help orchestrate your trip seamlessly, like your experience and ability level, dietary requirements and when you’re arriving.

Ahead of your course, we’ll send you an Info Pack covering everything you need to know in preparation for your course, with important reminders, helpful details and info like a packing list.

Sustainable travel is important for the future of our planet and the mountains we ride. In the industry we’re in, it remains a compromise, but we’re trying to make it the best possible compromise. From the resorts we ride, to the accommodation we use, and the snowsports products we buy, we try to make optimal choices – and give back too.

We are a proud member of 1% for the Planet, where we pledge to contribute 1% of our revenues to environmental non-profit causes. We’ve chosen to partner with three charities: Protect Our Winters Canada, Cool Earth and Wildsight.

We make your trip carbon neutral by offsetting emissions we can't reduce, including flights. On behalf of all participants, we offset the measurable carbon emissions of your trip based on the duration, location and type of course, as well as the journey you’re taking to reach your course.
