Philosophy
NONSTOP SNOW aspires to re-imagine the way riders spend their time in the mountains, helping to re-define their limits on snow. We believe there’s nothing better than progressing at a sport you love to reach the next level, and doing it alongside a bunch of new avid skier and snowboarder mates. Designed to spark progression and foster a deeper love for Mother Nature, each course combines pro coaching, great mountains, and an awesome group of people to ride with.

Orgins
Born in the powder fields of Fernie, British Columbia, our origins are rooted in the Canadian Rockies. We will forever look back to Fernie’s feather-light snow and infectious ski culture as our original source of inspiration, and blueprint for future exploits. NONSTOP SNOW has evolved to include a varied collection of ski and snowboard camps for all motivations and styles of rider.

We are team of skiers, snowboarders, coaches, guides and hosts, bound by a shared love of the mountains. Between us, we’ve notched up seasons across mountains from British Columbia, Canada to Hokkaido, Japan. Each season we welcome skiers and snowboarders from all corners of the globe, of all ages and ability levels, to share turns and good times in Mother Nature.

Inspired by the deep snow and infectious ski culture of British Columbia, Nonstop Snow is conceived in Fernie ahead of the 02/03 season. A few supportive friends and family provide our first bookings, and that is all the momentum we need.
We complete our inaugural season having delivered the original 11-week instructor course in Fernie, which still runs to this day. Joined by 30 riders, they have the time of their life, we learn heaps for moving forward and can’t wait for more.
Nonstop purchases and renovates the Red Tree Lodge in Fernie, a 43-bredroom ski lodge to act as the hub and base for our Fernie courses. A welcoming place to stay when coming to ski or board with us in Canada, it has everything a rider could need.
Nonstop wins three back-to-back honours as ‘Best Specialist Ski Operator’ at the World Snow Awards, voted for by the public and testament to the work from our passionate team and loyal community of skiers and riders.
As part of a sustainability effort, Nonstop commits to a carbon offsetting initiative to combat the emissions we can’t reduce. On behalf of all participants, we pledge to offset measurable carbon emissions based on travel as well as the duration, location and type of course.
Nonstop launches a new destination in the French Alps, with a 10-week instructor course in Les 2 Alpes. This becomes our third flagship season-long instructor program.
Nonstop solidifies its environmental commitment by becoming a member of 1% For The Planet, where we pledge to contribute 1% of all revenues to environmental non-profit causes, partnering with snowsports innovator Protect Our Winters, as well as rainforest protector Cool Earth and Fernie charity Wildsight.
Nonstop launches another European destination, bringing our month-long ‘Master the Mountain’ camp from British Columbia to the Southern Alps of France. Based in Serre Chevalier, riders can join us to boost their all-mountain and backcountry prowess.
